“Whoever teaches otherwise and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that is in accordance with godliness, is conceited, understanding nothing, and has a morbid craving for controversy and for disputes about words. From these come envy, dissension, slander, base suspicions, and wrangling among those who are depraved in mind and bereft of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain.”
1 Timothy 6:3-5

2 - Reflect
Today it has become very difficult to share daily and the way we behave ourselves with each other has taken on a strange form. It has become more and more difficult for us to bond sincerely, without resentments and being more patient and tolerant amongst brethren. We often argue over the smallest things, we entrench ourselves in endless conversations about things we do not agree upon, without being able to see the things that we do have in common. We have become individualized people who can not see beyond their own experience and it affects us on many levels.



Exercising tolerance is not something that happens magically, rather we have to make an effort to achieve it. And if we follow the Lord's path, His word, we will soon realize that we are more compassionate than we had thought. During our daily meditation we will be able to evaluate which attitudes do not allow us to approach each other, in our thoughts, our distance, or our love. Asking for what we need from our Heavenly Father is useful in building new relationships or improving those we already have with others. To remain intolerant or biased by our own opinions will not help us to live in communion with our neighbors, but rather quite the opposite.
